Isabella McLean Bett Walton Cannon (May 12, 1904 – February 13, 2002) was an American educator and politician. A member of the Democratic Party, she served the 32nd mayor of Raleigh, North Carolina from 1977 until 1979. She was the first woman to hold the office. Born Isabella McLean Bett Walton in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland, she came to the United States with her family in 1916.
